About the Author

Scott Rose is a published author of the books Ruddered…To Make a Difference that details his time-tested leadership strategies, and Just a Dot: So Make Your Life Count. His chief executive experience spans 30 years at financial institutions in North, East, and West Texas. Currently, he is president and CEO of ACFCU in Amarillo, Texas.

Mr. Rose created Ruddered for Success, Inc. to assist financial institutions with planning, improving, and motivating their teams. He is a former consultant with Catalyst Strategic Solutions and an award-winning marketer who speaks on relevant subjects at state and national conferences and seminars.

Along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Amberton University and a Master of Arts from Liberty University, Mr. Rose is a graduate of the Texas Tech University Rawls School of Banking. He is a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), Certified Financial Services Professional (CFSP), and Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). In addition, he is a Certified Chief Executive (CCE), having graduated from the CUES CEO Institute held at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, The Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
